I met Jennifer Hamill during a time when God was calling me back to him. My church had appointed women to a discipleship program in which Jenn was asked to lead by our Sr. Pastor. This 23 week course was laid out in a way that provoked thoughts and questions, along with the opportunity to correct any misinformation about God one might have picked up along the course of their lives. During this time, I found myself in a whirlwind. I was being challenged to reassess the very foundation my faith was built upon, especially due to the statements my elders had always spoken or quoted from the Bible that were actually being used out of context. What was the truth? Jenn, in her vast knowledge and application of God’s word, gently coached me back to truth. She supported her statements with God’s Word and conveyed herself in a way that helped me better understand what God was actually saying.
